About Sajini

Mr S. Sajini is a man from the East Rand — born and bred. His humble beginnings started at Nancy McDowell's crèche in Daveyton, where virtues sustained at home by his mom and dad shaped the educator he would become. Pre-school at Tiny Crystals (Crystal Park Primary) gave him his good command of the English language. Watching his mother — herself an educator — at work, he caught the teaching bug early. When adults asked what he wanted to be, his answer never wavered: "a principal of a school."

From Arbor Primary — "The Best On The East Rand" — to Benoni High School, where he matriculated with a Bachelor's Degree pass, Mr Sajini then enrolled at the University of Johannesburg (Kingsway Campus, Faculty of Education) for his B.Ed. In 2015 the dream came true: he began teaching at a high school. Over 11 years he has taught across the commerce stream — Business Studies, Economics and EMS — and today his focus and passion is Afrikaans (First Additional Language): Taal, Begrip & Letterkunde, and Mondeling & Skryf. The mission stays the same — turn struggle into distinctions. Through God's grace, he continues to excel and aim higher.

Afrikaans FAL — Taal & Grammatika

Sentence structure, word order, tenses and the ten language rules examiners chase every November. Drilled the way Mr Sajini teaches it in class — until learners stop guessing.

Afrikaans FAL — Begrip & Letterkunde

Comprehension, summary, poetry and the prescribed novels/dramas. Mr Sajini breaks down the set-works learners actually face in Paper 2.

Afrikaans FAL — Mondeling & Skryf

Prepared and unprepared orals, transactional and creative writing. Confidence-first coaching so the spoken and written marks both lift.

Mr S. Sajini

Business Studies

Business environments, ventures, operations and roles. Mr Sajini turns the textbook into exam-ready essay frameworks, with case-study practice every week.

Economics

Macro and micro economics taught with real South African examples — inflation, unemployment, fiscal policy — so the theory finally clicks for FET learners.

EMS (Economic & Management Sciences)

Senior-phase EMS: financial literacy, the economy and entrepreneurship. The strong commerce foundation that Grade 8–9 learners need before FET.

Former EMS Learner

"Mr. Sajini's EMS classes were a game-changer for me! His passion for Economic Management Sciences is infectious and makes complex concepts easy to grasp. He's approachable, supportive, and genuinely invested in his students' success. Mr. Sajini's teaching style and enthusiasm sparked my interest in economics and business, and his guidance had a lasting impact on my academic journey. Bronwyn Kamoto
Business Studies — Norkem Park High

"Since my fresh years out of high school, I've been always told to mind my own business in some situations but I came to figure out that what is business without Mr Sajini? Yep you heard that right — Mr Sajini, an incredible and unforgettable Business Studies teacher. His way of teaching the subject on its own is amazing, not to forget how he understands that as learners we are all different and need different attention when it comes to fully understanding a lesson. Therefore we equally got a fair chance of attention and an opportunity to ace that exam. Mr Sajini is more of a friend than a teacher which makes it easy to approach him, and that on its own creates a comfortable space for me as a learner to query and grasp information. I stand tall in mentioning that Mr Sajini is truly an amazing Business Studies teacher. Thank you so much Mr Sajini — I still carry some of your teachings about life in general as a badge of honour through the journey of my life. 🙏"

Former Afrikaans Learner
Two years under Mr. Sajini

"I had the privilege of being taught Afrikaans by Mr. Sajini for two years, and I can confidently say he was one of the most supportive and dedicated educators I've ever had. His teaching style was not only clear and effective, but also patient and encouraging, which made learning a challenging subject feel achievable and even enjoyable. Mr. Sajini consistently went the extra mile to ensure that every student understood the material, often taking time to explain concepts in different ways until they clicked. His genuine care for his students created a positive learning environment where we felt motivated to do our best. Thanks to his guidance, I gained both knowledge and confidence in Afrikaans, and I will always be grateful for the impact he had on my education. Mr. Sajini is truly an outstanding teacher whose passion and dedication make a lasting difference in the lives of his students."

Tshegofatso Phala
Afrikaans — High School

"Mr. Sajini — also known as BESTE MENEER — our high school Afrikaans teacher, delivered the greatest performance our class ever witnessed. He transformed ordinary poems into living stories, voice rising and falling like music. With expressive gestures and fiery passion, he made archaic words feel urgent and alive. Idioms danced off his tongue, bringing laughter and understanding. His eyes sparkled as he explained Fiela se Kind, making characters breathe in our classroom. He believed language carried heritage, and he shared it like treasure. That day, grammar became art, literature became life, and we finally understood Afrikaans was not just a subject, but soul."

Grade 11 Learner
Afrikaans FAL — Current Student

"Meneer Sajini het my lewe in Afrikaans heeltemal verander.
